Nothing Works

Hi everyone---the oddest thing is happening today. I'm renting 1/4 sim and have been for about 2 weeks now with no problems. All of a sudden today, my waves aren't working, my house doors don't open by touch, when I try to sit on things that have pose balls, i go right through, my boat doesn't work and when I stood up, it threw me all the way to the other side of my parcel and the boat landed on land. Anyone ever heard of this??

That is all very odd, does it continue when you relog?

Have you contacted the estate owner / estate manager?

It is possible they have disabled scripts for some reason, i.e. if there was something wrong or a problem. It's also possible that the sim just needs a restart, and they'd be able to do this for you.

It sounds like your scripts are being blocked, aren't working, and might be having some sim troubles. Did someone recently turn off/block scripts? Do you have the ability to turn them back on? (i forget if you said you were renting or owned). Can you try resetting some scripts to see if that resolves it, and also ask your sim owner about a possible restart if nothing else works?

yeah, i've tried relogging, didn't help. The owner is offline at the moment, that was my first thought was that he had changed something. Left him a msg. I'll try resetting a script and see what happens. thanx

Hmmm I have had many problems the last two days, have not been able to build without crashing, also a high rate of crashing no matter what sim I'm in. One of my many crashes Nicholaz already has a patch for, the rest ... who knows? I'm sitting the rest of today out, hope it calms down for me. Haven't taken the time to chase it down, but did notice my home sim running at 30,000 ips. Which is rather high for home, but a strictly local phenomenon I'm sure.

hey guys, sorry I bothered you. It's all fixed. The owners were switching ownership of the sim today and something went haywire with my parcel, but he came out and straightened it up. Thanx for the advice.
