Hi - since installing Vista - the movie play buttons won't appear inworld? Has anyone found this a problem and what is the solution please?
Habve made sure that it is set correctly to play within Preferences.

Simply reinstall Quicktime

If you have QuickTime installed and are assured its upto date, go into QT preferences and make sure the compatible file types are selected such as mov, mp4 etc and that those codex are installed correctly.
I would be wary choosing the iTunes programme download with QT, as this is a system drainer even when not being used, it runs auto updates, connects to the internet, installs itself in thet startup group etc.
