News Flash!
Linden Lab, developers of the virtual world Second Life, has announced that they have sold the LL web forums and the Second Life virtual world to the tabloid magazine "The National Enquirer", for an undisclosed sum of money, said to be in the hundreds of millions of dollars.
Tabatha Trashtalk, a spokeswoman for The Enquirer says that they have already started using the LL "Resident Answers" forum to generate and product test new tabloid headlines for the magazine. She also says that the Enquirer is looking forward to all the scandals and racy headlines that they will be able to generate, simply by observing the daily activities in Second Life. "People at the supermarkets were just getting so tired of stories about Elvis sightings and Aliens, that we wanted a source of fresh material. Second Life generates more unbelievable and shocking headline material every week than our writing staff could use in a month. This will be great for our magazine!"
When asked about their plans for Second Life, Tabitha said "Oh, we'll just keep things just as they are! The drama fests, the rumors, the complaints about bad customer service and scandals about what LL employees really do all day... why, it's such a fertile ground for tabloid-quality entertainment that we wouldn't dream of touching a thing!"

Did I mention that the biplane is bright red and has a machine gun? Every time you rez it and take it back you get a copy in your inventory. I don't delete them - I just collect them. I've got about 30. This is a hell of a prize, folks.
