hey all, I recently opened/rented a shop to sell some of my clothing designs. I have read some tuts and have what I hope, is a good idea on how to build my vendor boxes etc .. My problem is when I put said box in my shop and place my cursor over it. I do not get the "green linden dollar sign" that you normally see with sellable items.

I can right click the box, choose more, then hit buy but that is all ... Is this because I am the owner or have I missed a step here somewhere? I have a basic account, not sure if that plays a part here but figured it was worth mentioning.

I have everything ready to go so anyone who could shed some light on this as soon as possible, I'd REALLY appreciate it!

you can let me know here or IM me in SL

Hi Gothica,

Yes, as the owner you wont see the same options as a buyer would. You have the choice of either making the box for sale with contents.....or simply selling 'contents'. Once you have the 'for sale' checked....and the amount......TP in a friend to test it out for you....if they can purchase the items, and receive them....you're good to go. (maybe set the price for 1L during the test sale) Setting things to sell is as simple as it appears. ;)

Gothic, if you want to see the green dollar sign when you set things for sale there's something extra you need to do. In the edit window, when you set the item for sale, there is a drop down menu at the bottom of the same tab. This sets what will happen when someone clicks on it. The default for items is "touch", but if you look further down the drop down menu you can set it so that "buy" is the option when touched. Once you have selected this option you should be able to see the green dollar sign when you hover over the item.

You can also set the prim properties to "buy". This is, I think, on the bottom of the general tab.

This changes "buy" to left click.
