Group message pictures/textures

Lately I have been noticing that in addition to url's with a group message many have a texture in the body of the message or in the border. So I have been trying to figure out how.

So far color me tech impaired, any kind souls out there show me the path?

Isn't that the group insignia in the border you are seeing? Those are created in the group info window. If not that, the textures are just attachments and I think you can only place one attachment.

The texture has to be full perm I think before it will transfer correctly. Or it at least has to be set to copy / transfer. Right click on the texture and set the properties to Copy and Resell / Give Away.

I've never seen one in the body of the message that I remember. I briefly tried the "img" within brackets technique we use here in the forums, but that doesn't work.

NOt sure I understand the OP - do u mean in messages in-world? If so- you can send Notices within a group with one attachment. If you choose a notecard, you can include textures as well as other content there- if the texture, as Weston said, is full perm.

In IM's I have not seen any textures attached- but I do believe I read that in the newer viewer you wd be able to offer inventory content within IM rather than have to go to the Profile - perhaps that is wha you have seen? - I am using a third party viewer with the security measures- so I do not now how this SL feature works, if it was implemented.
