Search issues?

I have a parcel that sometimes shows in search and sometimes only shows within the region name. I thought at first it was because it was a newish parcel and the system hadn't indexed it properly but the issue keeps coming back.

So sometimes I search for say "XYZ" and it lists the said parcel.

Then later I'll search for "XYZ" and it will only show it within the region.

Anyone else seeing anything like this?

I happens sometimes where a parcel appears in search form one sim but not from another. I'm assuming you mean the All search. I haven't got a clue why, but it does happen. When you see it happen, try going to different sims and searching. Try searching from a private island and from mainland.

I'll try it with different AV's and see if that makes a difference, I've tried different locations and it's not making a difference at the moment, I wonder if search is cached somehow.

There are times when different people see different results, and I assume it's because there is more than one index (I've seen 3), which are not as up to date as each other. But that wouldn't cause what you're seeing, unless we sometimes get results from a partially updated index.

When you see it happen, it would good to ask some friens to do a search and see if they see your place listed or not.
