dcs2 charactars

If you make a character in one sim and then go to another with different characters are your previous ones erased or will the proper character load up depending on where you go? Noob question but something I need to know.

If I understand you correctly....no your avatar stays as you made it and any changes you make to your shape, skin, hair, clothing etc., remain until you change them again. Your av's appearance cannot be changed by moving from sim to sim. (Well, not intentionally anyway. Sometimes SL has a funny moment and things may seem to change - but they don't really.)

If you have more than one avatar account, they are completely independent.

If you're talking about your stats and character traits, they will load properly in each sim you go to. So if you're a vampire with stats for that in one sim, that will load when you go there. If you're a warrior of some type and go to another sim, that set of stats will load when you rez there. I'm not an expert, but I'm quite certain that is right.

Thanks. I would hate to work up a character. GO somewhere else to play and then have to start all over in the original sim. I have favorites but would like to check others out.

SL is not a game but if you like to play games here, that's fine. For advice and information about any particular game rhough you are better looking wherever you joined it.

If I'm not mistaken, all of your DCS2 stats and data are stored on a server outside the SL infrastructure, so your data is just simply retrieved from this server as needed when you move from sim to sim (or otherwise as needed).
