I was sad to hear about the passing of someone many of us know that follow the second life music scene.. well respected and known and alwyas a friendly hello, Passed away last night.. he was young.. so very young. Blood Klotzel rest in peace brother.
It is hard to place yourself in sl and not be affected by rl events.. When someone passes from this world and you knew them on SL its hard to take the attitude that some do here. rl is rl and sl is sl. no its not.
I will light a candle for the partner he leaves behind and offer prayers to the family and circle of friends in helping them cope with such a sudden and untimely passing.
Gods love to all involved, my peace fill your heart after the pain is gone.

Who? I'm sure this is a case where naming names is OK, after all if they were that influential then the name should be shared in case people haven't heard through whatever other sources have made this publicly known?

From: RockAndRoll Michigan I'll just go hide under a rock for a while now..... Awww... cheer up. Just go to Wal-Mart and do what you mentioned in the "sad sl life" thread. I don't know the performer that passed away, but hopefully he is in a better place.

From: Tarina Sewell he wasnt a preformer. You mentioned the second life music scene, naturally first thing came to mind was he was a performer. So, what was he in the music scene?

There are quite a few memorial parks and builds in sl, from the secular to the religious themed, where you might want to sit and reflex or light a virtual candle. SL can be an interesting place to work through your grief, or pay tribute to someone important in your life. Here's a LL spot: https://blogs.secondlife.com/community/land/dpw/blog/2009/04/22/ldpw-creates-public-space-for-memorial-events-contemplation

The main landing point for the garden is at http://slurl.com/secondlife/Linden%20Memorial%20Park/108/144/13 . There is a memorial garden available in Second Life where you can plant a flower for the deceased, at http://slurl.com/secondlife/Varna/180/40//. Also, there is a support ticket category for having a permanent memorial added there as well.

There's a really nice place in the memorial sims where you wade into the sea, bend, and place a candle in a little floating boat onto the water's surface. It floats out, and you can watch it as it moves away from you. It's in the northwest part of that group of sims - San Michele.
