Hi all,
After reading the support FAQ's about land ownership, i'm now more confused than i was before i read it. Can somebody please answer these questions in pure basic english ?
1: when buying my private region will i be charged $1000 or $1295 ?
2: Will i just be charged $295 per month, or will i also be charged $195 for land use fees ?
thanks in advance
Jimbo

I think you're mixing island and mainland. Islands are $1,000 plus $295/month.

so, the initial bill would be $1295 ? or $1000, then $295 30 days later ? by what you said, i'm guessing there's no land use fees on top of the $295 ? forgive my noobish persistence. i just want to make sure i know what i'm getting into financially, before i start spending a shedload of cash

From: Snowflake Fairymeadow $1000 upfront $295 30 days later and each month thereafter There you go Yep, I had the same question when we bought an island a couple of months ago. Dreamland was always quick to get you to pay the tier so that was my user experience. It was nice to not have the $295 hit until 30 days later. What was even better, was not having to go to the Dreamland Hub and pay the tier fee. SL deducted it directly from the card. I might add that the purchase was straight-forward and was a very solid user experience.

This was great info to find ,,, because I was wondering about the something .. cuz i was thinking about buying an island. But i do have one question about the tier .. i know LL can deducted it directly from the card, but also can they deducted the tier from my US Dollar Balance that's on my account page?

That's the first place they try to get it from. If the account doesn't have it, then they go to the card.
