What do you mean by timing out? Does you client disconnect and you cant move your av and stop being able to chat?
If that is the case look at your network connections.. make sure your cable or dsl modem are ok (might need to get an update) and your router is ok... I had this problem and replacing my Router fixed it for me. Now I stay up so long that the memory leak usually gets me. ![]() .d |

Have you cleared your cache and logged back in? Or it could just be the sim that you are in.

It logs you out when idle? Have you turned of the AFK (away from keyboard) test? Go to Client/Character/Tests and uncheck the Anti-AFK test. Now try going idle with the game *not* minimized ... i believe it should leave you logged in.
If you minimize the client, I *THINK* the SL clients log you out after a time. Haven't tried it in a long time. . |

It logs you out when idle? Have you turned of the AFK (away from keyboard) test? Go to Client/Character/Tests and uncheck the Anti-AFK test. Now try going idle with the game *not* minimized ... i believe it should leave you logged in. Actually, I think I read that only turns off the slumped over anim when you go AFK. _____________________

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things. Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut. |

ctrl-alt-D, I think cant remember for sure. If that doesn work, try ctrl, alt, shift, D then it should show up on your upper tool bar... Something like that, sorry I cant be more precise its been awhile

Hey Scrow. I obviously can't help you with the released and RC clients, but I can tell you this: the Nicholaz client doesn't do this. If you turn off the AFK test on that client, you stay logged in. However, his client is built on sources that are now getting a bit old ... he has no windlight version. I am using BE-v, with no troubles.

Hit Ctrl+Alt+Shift+D and you should see two extra menu items pop up in the menu bar at the top of your screen: "Client" and "Server".
Go to "Client", choose "Character" and then "Character Tests" Click on "Go Away/AFK When Idle" - make sure there is no X next to it. This should prevent you from timing out, no matter how long you are AFK. (This is for 1.18.5, I don't know about the latest Release Candidate) |
