Helllllp! I went to a friends club tonight to a "dude looks like a lady/lady looks like a dude" contest and I put on my manskin...cause I'm a lady what was trying to look like a dude... Party's over, fastforward.... I tp'd home to get myself back in my skin and everything seemed to fall into place except my face! My body is back, all skinned nice and female everywhere..everywhere! But my face is still that of a male. I have a fecking 5'oclock shadow! I took the skin off, searched for worn, removed everything. I deleted the female skin and pulled out the original packed box and unpacked and reloaded it all. Still manfaced. I rebaked textures...nada. I cleared my cache and logged out twice! Still manfaced. WTF? Omg.i was teasing the partner the other day and told him that my name was really steve...but I was only kidding! Ok. Here's a pic for Brenda. It happened!  |

Hey! You see any goozle on me? I tried on several shapes and they all have the same manface. Earlier in the night I tried on a lioness that I bought from grindels and it's showing that I'm still wearing it but gives no option to remove..I'm thinking that SL is on another one of it's benders.

Mox, did you try putting on a different skin? I have seen this problem solved in several cases, by putting on a different skin (any skin, you can use one from the Library folder), replacing your skin totally. Then change back to your own skin. /me crosses her fingers PS. At least you posted the picture here, so no one can ever blackmail you by threatening to post it on the internet...  |

Ok here's what I'm seeing..I was wearing the lion earlier tonight. I'm seeing the lion hair (bald cap?) is still worn, however when I right click on it, there is no option to remove. I guess this was based on a male avatar when it was created.
Malia, that makes sence...I'll try to put on another one of my animals that doesn't have a bald cap. Maybe that will get rid of the cap. I saw this on the forum pertaining to eyebrows come to think of it..standby!
Hehe didn't actually enter the contest, just went to hang with some friends. It turned out a tie between two though.

Yay! LOL well this was a short thread. I'm back. Thanks for the help!
Ya know Isa, I was definately going to tp around and have fun with this...was really intending to scare the crap out of my partner but now I just don't wanna go back there.
I changed into a little housecat avatar. This removed the hair from the lion, so I'm pretty sure that was my problem. The lion was based off a male avatar and was what was giving me the shadow and thick eyebrows.

if it was the hair, in the future if this ever happens again, just go to any prim hair folder and put on a bald wig
I have not looked at the men hair options but if the hair options is also what controls the facial hair and such then yes that would make sense
so just replacing the hair with a bald wig (if you need one just give me a shout I will drop one on you) but most hair makers include them
you can not remove the non prim hair, you have to replace it with another one...
wish I had seen this thread earlier, I would have immediately suggested putting on a bald cap
