Hi
I had heard about a way to travel much of SL by foot or vehicle by road. Is there a list or maps of these roads or landmarks for starting point?

Check over at the shelter. I think Carl Metropolitan does a lot of mapping.

Search for NCI or New Citizens Incorporated. The shelter is one of their places. Or any of NCI's place could probably steer you in the right direction.

Pssst, Damien, I don't think NCI runs The Shelter. Carl Metropolitan runs NCI, and Travis Lambert runs The Shelter.

Either way, Andromeda, you can pick up copies of maps of the entire Second Life grid, which will show roads, InfoHubs, etc. Search for either Carl or Travis, and you can use their Profile Picks to find their places.

Your Map button (bottom of the Second Life screen) is also invaluable for finding roads and train tracks (yes, there is a Second Life Rail system!)
