A friend of mine has received a linden grant, does anyone know anything about these or what entitles someone to receive one ? The friend is a premium member. Just curious as they have had no email or notification as to what this is for.

all I know is today they received 1250L$ and the transaction screen read linden grant and the region was listed as system

It's the bonus for signing up for premium. You get $L1250 when your avatar signs up as premium. I think it's only supposed to be received if you become premium right away. However, I made an alt a while back, and she was basic for about 3 weeks. About 2 months after I made her premium, I received the linden grant. You receive it about 45 days-2 months after your premium account sign-up.
