What can I do with them?

I'd like to:

Change selling box texture and put my logo on the box (make my own boxes)
Combine existing FP products with mine and make new products for sale.

Is there are really no limits?

You *can* change the selling box texture and sell it as your own creation....

...but that's intellectual property theft.

Just because one *can* do something, it doesn't follow that one *should*

But that means that I "Can't". I didn't ask if I can do something illegal.

It depends. Some items are sold full perms but the creator puts a note in asking that you don't resell them.

Other items, if they have full perms then you can resell them. The permission box has an option to allow the new owner to resell the item, so there's nothing wrong with doing so.

One example would be a full perm texture. You can't sell the texture itself but you can use it in something you make (like a chair) and sell that.

You can do anything with full perms items, but these are items that were either given free to the community or a problem with permissions after an update bug. Whichever, they are available for free elsewhere.

Do you really want to sell items to people that they can get for free just to try and make some money yourself? You will get more satisfaction from learning to make items and selling ones you have put effort into.

It is socially acceptable to take apart a "freebie" and use it in a new creation that you added to. A great example are the "flames" that 75% of SL creators use in candles, fires, etc... Those are a freebie that got incorporated into a new item.

Simply reselling freebies is a good way to have lots of people think you are scum and get lots of nasty IM's, if you like that kind of attention....

I would IM the creators and ask if you can if there is any question.

If you acquired items such as a BIAB 'Business in a Box" where all of the items were created by the seller, who is clearly granting you a liscense (preferably in writing) to use these items in creating a business and reselling them, then yes you probably can do just about anything you want with those items. If however the seller included items that were made by other creators, then it is VERY possible that he is reselling freebies or things that he did not have a liscense or permission from the original creator to resell. If in doubt, contact the original creator and verify if your intended use is permissible.

You have to be careful here, as some people are selling BIAB sets where almost everything in it is a freebie or was not liscensed to be resold in this way.

There are somethings such as animations and textures that are sold with full permissions, so creators can incorporate them into new products, but not intended to be resold as is. These times are usally sold with a liscense that defines what you can and should not do with the items. For examples, animations are often sold with full permissions so furniture creators can incorporate them into the furniture, but the liscense says the animations should be sold with NO copy permissions to the consumer.
