So, I may have been enjoying too much eggnog, but i gave something to someone and i don't know what i gave them. Our last line of chat is "inventory item offered."

So, I may have been enjoying too much eggnog, but i gave something to someone and i don't know what i gave them. Our last line of chat is "inventory item offered." Any way to discover/search WHAT i gave this person? IM and ask them? Sorry, actually try checking your transaction history on the website. If you don't know how to do that here is how: 1. Go to www.secondlife.com and log in 2. Open the account menu on left for dashboard. 3. Click transaction history. 4. In the dates, choose the date beginning the day you gave the item. Same for end date. 5. Don't uncheck the show 0 transactions 6. Search for the transaction. there should be a description of the item if it had a name. |

Sorry, but there is no way to find out without either asking the other person what you gave them or comparing a list of your inventory contents before and after the giving. Your transaction history is not any help either as it will not list anything more than "give inventory" as the description, who you gave it to, when you gave it, and what sim you were on when you gave it.

If I'm not mistaken, if it was an actual object it will show the name of the object. Only, if it's a notecard, texture, animation, etc does it show give inventory. Of course, I could be mistaken as I so often am. Or maybe it only shows that if the exchange of lindens was involved. Hm, don't know, looks like you are going to have to ask the recipient. |
