I have been trying to find answer from all support sites I can think of, maybe you good people can help me.
Problem: my clouds are missing. And you can imagine how dull second life looks without them.
When I go to the 'Environment editor', the 'Cloud cover' shifter is untouchable, grayed out. Any solutions for this?
Many thanks in advance if someone is kind and wise enough to help!

which clouds? the puffy ones at 200m? or the painted ones on the ceiling? if its the puffy 'legacy' ones that are missing, i recall there being an option to enable/disable them.

Have you clicked on the 'Advanced Sky' option in the editor?

Many thanks in advance if someone is kind and wise enough to help! Hmm....are you able to adjust all the other sky settings under the advanced tab?? I can't imagine why the clouds only would be greyed out......is 'draw classic clouds' checked or unchecked in the editor? What's your Os? I was going to say maybe it's snapped back to a system default....but.....if you were able to use the environment editor before...then you should still. More info would help tho.

Go to Edit > Preferences > Graphics and make sure that "Atmospheric Shaders" is on. If your graphics are set at "Medium" by default they'll be off.
If the Atmospheric Shaders option is greyed-out, it means your graphics card cannot display them.
