I log in, I get to maybe walk three meters or play for 10 seconds, then it crashes. I didn't have this problem before... please help meeeee! >_<

Well, I'm not too sure on the reasons for SL crashes, but check to see if you're using the most up to date version, and see if your internet is being flaky.

Also check just about everything else... unfortunately alot of things make SL crash.. comp cant handle it, internet is flaky, SL grid is having troubles, your sim is, attachments are freaking you out, too many scripts... the list goes on... can you tell us anything more about your situation?

Hi Alex, welcome to the forums.  Berith and Oki are right, it could be a number of things, so you will have to try several things to help diagnose the problem. First, if you have time before crashing, remove ALL attachments you are wearing. That includes prim hair, prim shoes, AOs, HUDs, and so on. Relog and see if it helps. If not, try logging on to another region. If it's still crashing, keep an eye on your cable or DSL modem to see if the actual connection is being dropped (in which case you'd need to address this with your ISP). If all that's done and it's still no good, try manually deleting your SL config folder (but be sure to copy out your chat/IM logs if you want to save those). Then reinstall the client. You should be treated like it's your first time in SL... if it does that, the client has been completely reset and is a clean install. If it's still not working, come back and give us the details, and we'll try to figure it out. |

Alex, welcome to the forum. Assuming it's not a general internet/antivirus issue, try the following to see if any of them help: 1. log in to a different sim 2. have you put any new items (scripted e.g. HUDs or otherwise) on? Take them off (type 'worn' into your Inventory Search field for a full list of everything your avatar has on) 3. Clear your cache & relog 4. Clear your cache and log into a different sim 5. Delete the SL client from your PC and download a new one Inc ETA : or I could just type "What Ava said" lol

It could be any number of things. If you could post your system specs, most especially OS and video "card" that would be a good place to start.
