While on Help Island, I heard from a very reliable source. He happens to be my 3rd cousin's next door neighbor's BDSM Mistress's gardener's daughter..so, VERY reliable.
It was rumored that LL will be reestablishing Dwell for parcels. Just like in the old days before free, unverified registration. Basically, each land owner will recieve an extra portion of the much coveted block of lag. The Dwell calculation will be 1 point for each avatar for each minute the avatar stays on the parcel, 1 point for each attachment the avatar has, and 1 point for each script the avatar runs. This is but a base calculation.
Extra points are awarded for those parcels that:
- use the dance cage camping chairs (nudity not required) +1
- Child avies +1
- Furry avies +1
- Ad Farm signs -1
- Ad Farm signs that spin +1
- newbie avies (less than a month old) -1
- secretly hiding casino machines -1
- blantantly displaying casino machines -2 (plus sent to the Cornfield for 2 weeks)
- On land that was formerly a casino +2
- Age verified avatars +2
- Under water -1
- 300 meters above ground level +1
