I hesitate to start a new thread, but the question is sufficiently different from other threads, and I can't find an answer.
I have one of these Sex Beds, with E. C. as a creator, in my inventory. I bought it a year or more ago. The bed, and all animations and scripts in it are no-modify and no-transfer. Even though E. C. seems to be associated (accurately or not) with some illegal content in Second Life, this particular bed seems to be legal.
After the sweep of E. C. items over the weekend, I checked my inventory to see if I have any such affected items, and I found this bed. I rezzed it and examined it to try to determine for myself whether it fit with any of the potentially illegal items I've heard about.
I actually had five identical copies of this bed in my inventory, in a folder I created called "Home and Furniture." Why five copies? I don't know, but they've been there for a long time, probably before I understood that I don't need more than one instance of a copiable item in my Inventory.
Well, today I decided I'd contact the creators of the animations in the bed to see if I could confirm whether they were prirated or not. But I had trouble finding the bed in my Inventory.
I happened to look in my "Trash" folder, and there are all five instances of the bed.
So yesterday, they were in my Inventory, under my "Home and Furniture" folder. Today, all five have been somehow moved to Trash. I did not put them in Trash; I was keeping them in Inventory until I decided what to do with them.
From reading the threads today, and the Linden Labs blog post, it was my understanding that (a) the initial sweep of E. C. items was "inadvertent" (b) Inventory copies were not affected (c) we are allowed to have this items in our Inventory, officially.
Some time since last night and today, a Linden put them in my Trash folder. So does that mean that yes, some of these items are being deleted from inventories? And if some things are being deleted from Inventories, why put them in my Trash folder, where I can just restore them to Inventory?

You should edit your thread to remove the NAMES of the GUILTY cuz they might end up INNOCENT one day. _____________________

You should edit your thread to remove the NAMES of the GUILTY cuz they might end up INNOCENT one day. I mentioned the name just to identify the bed accurately, and tried not to imply that the person was in fact guilty of anything. But the point is well-taken, and I will make a few edits. |

If the 5 copies of your item are in your trash you still have them and can move them back into their proper folders and rez them. To me this sounds more like an SL glitch than a mischeivious Linden.
