There's a little house in SL where you put candles. One of the old sims.
A candle I put there got returned to me.
Has this old house gone away?

Has this old house gone away? Dunno, but I know a couple of my handles from Season's Altar got returned a bit ago too. I assumed it was jes to make room for more, newer requests. Mari

This was a candle made by Francis Chung.
The house I think some would say is a "historic" build in SL.

Yes indeed, it was Mocha Cathedral. Thanks Osprey.
Just for the record I did ask this question at the slexchange forum as prompted by Alicia.
Two answers, neither correct, but - it does show that the slexchange forums can work as an SL forum. There's nothing actually magical about the secondlife.com domain.

Hi You just might be talking about Mocha cathedral (link in my profile picks if anyone wants to visit) I was in there the other night deleting/returning old candles - unfortunately we can't afford to tier everyone's candles forever. If I returned your candle, I apologize, but you are welcome to come back to Mocha cathedral and light a new one On a semi-related note, we're actually looking for help with tiering right now (we're about to be 3000sqm short) - if anyone would like to help out, let me know! Thanks

From: Xio Jester Sounds kinda spooky It's really not When I first visited the cathedral (it was in Kissling at the time) I thought it was one of the most spiritual places in Second Life - that's why I chose to get involved. Try visiting, maybe it will touch you like it did me
