new crippling problem.

I have a problem that affects just one avatar and not the other.
Hard to describe but here goes
When you right click an item like say clothes normally there is a a window that opens up. At the bottom is add to wardrobe, wear, etc. On one avatar it works just like that. On the other it ends at the make new, copy and delete section. I cant auto wear, wardrobe, replace, or auto attach. Some things dont attach intuitively so its hard to do it manually. This started thurs night and has continued.

Things I have tried.

1. clear cache
2. un-install re-install
3. re download and do above.

Nothing helped. Again Effected one avatar and not the other. Well did before reinstall. Have not checked to see if both are bad yet.

Its making this avatar unplayable.

Do you have an attachment locked on with RLV?

Ok this may be too simple an answer but I'll just throw it out there. I am in the habit of right-clicking clothing folders more than once because the first time I do it I see just what you describe. However if I do it twice (I don't know if I've had to do it 3 times or not) then that bottom part of the drop-down menu appears.

What Kelly said makes sense.

Are you using RLV or an alternative viewer with built in RLV? Maybe you are using an attachment for RLV that prevents you to change clothing.

If you are using any aternative viewer, try to log in with the regular viewer and see if the problem persist.

And, to me, what AK said happened too, rarely but happened, at the first click not all options where in the menu, in the second click, they are there.

It wouldn't have to be anything that blocks you adding clothes. If you have even a single attachment locked on with RLV, the 'wear' options for other attachments are removed. You can only attach an item that has its attach point included in brackets at the end of its name, e.g. Shoe (left foot). The attachment point name has to be correctly spelled including spaces, but isn't case sensitive.

This doesn't apply to non-prim clothing, but other RLV tomfoolery can block that, as Vania points out.

Well I did not know that...had made a second avatar to just mess with to learn...yeah had an RLV item on. Good CALL because no one in the chat group thought of it nor the bug report LOL. That did fix. One item wont attach to right spot but will just rebuy that one. rest works. thanks.
