Picks Camping question - "Been Naughty/Removed Picks"?

I added a couple places to my profile to take advantage of a little picks camping, and happily advertise some places I actually enjoy shopping.

Almost a month went by and I never was able to get paid out by either place. They were constantly "paid out." So I deleted them.

Then, a friend was successfully paid out by them, so I re-added them.

Now, I get a message saying "According to our checks, you have been naughty and removed a picks reward location from your profile" or something like that.

I was NEVER paid out when they were in my profile the first time. I understand some people are jackasses and add picks, get paid, change their picks, and go get paid elsewhere. That's not what I did, but at this point, I removed both places altogether and am giving up as I now need my tabs for other things.

So, the questions: Is this a temporary thing? Would I have been able to get paid EVENTUALLY, like, after a waiting period, and if so, what's the wait period? Will this prevent me from getting paid if I decide to add a totally DIFFERENT place that uses a picks board on the same system someday?

Thanks.

There are no rules. Each person offering picks camping money can do what ever they please. Even not pay anyone at all. LL won't get involved in resident disputes. (^_^)y

You didn't hide your profile in search, did you?

most picks camping that do not require "payment record on file" to give you a reward, after you add them to your pro pick it usually take 24 hrs to activate, once you done receiving the reward itll tell you when to get back some takes 30 or 15 days ive seen a place that gives 10L$ every two days

No, profile is definitely not hidden in search.

Treat - both these places required payment info on file AND used, which I have.

The picks in question pay out every 30 days. That's not the wait period I'm talking about. And the picks were in my profile well over 24 hours, that's also not the issue I'm asking about.

I wonder if any vendors who use the Picks Camping would be willing to give me some input into this. They probably know what I'm talking about.

there are networks that put you on a blacklist if you remove one of them

There is no work around to get back on the good list

Do you know this for a fact, and again, is it permanent?

This seems pretty arbitrary and unfair. For instance, what if you remove a pick due to someone discontinuing picks camping or closing their store altogether. Then you go to add a whole new place. If they're on the same network, will you end up with the "naughty" message for any NEW places you add that happen to be on the same network?

I guess I'm not sure if you end up with the "naughty" message and blacklisted from EVERY place using the same network, or just from the one place you removed in the first place.

I understand the need to guard against idiots who will take advantage of things like this. But if it works like I just described, maybe it's a matter of cutting off your nose to spite your face. Detrimental to the reason for having it in the first place - advertisement opportunity.

Shrug.

I'm sure... they had notecards about it when I looked into it for lindens.

And it's just that network, which could be 4 stores or 400...
