Well, Ann, they don't listen anyways so I thought it was at least worth a try. No sense getting your panties in a wad over it. We pay good money for our outfits and it is frustrating to not be able to wear them, that's all. Have a nice day!

Seriously - the good news is that the Lindens have addressed this issue; it is fixed in the latest release candidate, and that fix will eventually be incorporated into the regular viewer. If you can't wait until then (I couldn't, because unlike most people I actually prefer system skirts over prim skirts), you can download the release candidate and use it. I like system skirts too.
The other day, I acquired an outfit that DEMANDS one...and didn't have it. It's a gorgeous little suitdress, with a peplum jacket. There are two skirts with it...one is a micro-mini, the other a skirt that ends just above the knee. They're both made the same way...pants, plus two prims that connect the legs across the front and the rear. This is great for the micro-mini. But with the longer skirt, the prims rotate away from the legs if you are in anything other than the default stand pose. So I made a system skirt to go with it. (/me makes note to self to contact the maker of this item and give her a piece of her mind...er, I mean, some feedback.) _____________________

 Without those skirts,you can't have a tail!! Though I find rebaking and going into edit appearance mode once or twice fixes it for me._____________________

I've been wearing system skirts and dresses from time to time recently. Some of them take ages to 'wear' and might need 2 or 3 rebakes but they do rez eventually!
I'm not denying there's a problem, but it's not total - also some skirts rez better than others. _____________________
