Weird Blue Spot Covers Avatars???

Hi Everybody...a friend has an interesting problem. When she looks directly at another Avatar, they are either whole or partially covered by a blue spot. She sent me a snapshot of what she sees when she looks at me. In the picture I am almost completely plotted out by a blue irregularly shaped polygon that appears flat. She says it's on everybody...on some people smaller and others bigger, and has been going on for a month now. We cleared caches and even uninstalled and reinstalled SL. She has updated her drivers on her 2 year old laptop. Anybody ever heard of such a thing...or have any ideas? It's making her batty and is really annoying.

My guess would be that she has "show updates" checked in a menu. I keep forgetting which one though. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will come along shortly

I think someone else reported this yesterday and it was quickly solved by ... I'll have to check

That's it I am sure. I went to client and clicked show updates and saw myself surrounded by the same blue spot as I saw in her snapshoot.
I will run tell my girlfriend now. Double smooches to all of you!
