I'm ready to try piping in music from my Mac into SL. Gonna try it even if the bandwidth problem is a killer. At least I'll know what to expect. So all I need to do (the little innocent said) is to put in place a link between the sound coming from iTunes and my parcel in SL. Where might I go to find out how to do that?

Thanks.

You need to have a music stream. Sorry, I don't know how to do that on my PC, let alone on a Mac...but talk to the DJs. They do it all the time.

Try reading this for information from the Wiki:

Compared to the bandwidth that SL routinely eats up, a 128 kbps music stream doesn't really eat up that much more bandwidth.
