I am looking for an easy way to send my store inventory to my main account for storage (my inventory is getting out of hand). Someone on another post mentioned there was possibly a legitimate "copy-bot" type thing out there that would allow me to do this but ONLY with my objects (which is all I want). Then a helpful person here mentioned that Second Inventory would do the same.

Anyone know what Second Inventory is and how it works? I have a huge store and the thought of changing all the perms to send copies to my other avatar is scary and hopeless.

I've never heard of it. Is it supposed to be a Linden-sponsored thing, like part of the official viewer? Or is it made by a resident, and sold on XStreet?

In this case Second Inventory would be perfect. Just be mindful that some people are disappointed when they find out that it only works on full perm items.

When you say full perm... that is full perm to me right? Like the objects I made? Or do I have to set the perms on everything to full perm for the next user? Since all my objects that I made (this is what I need to move) are full perm to me.. it would work on those right?

Yes. And objects that you bought/were-given that have full permissions.

Also, be aware the if the Next Owner permissions are not full perm, you will not be able to use the restore function for any avatar other than yourself.

In other words, in order to use SI to transfer an object to an alt (not the best method anyway), it would need to have full next owner perms.
