Spam/particle attacks with objects bearing my group tag

Hey everyone,

So I received a very angry IM today from person who found a poofer/particle spammer object on their land which was dropped there by a member of my group, and the object had my group tag on it. The person from my group that did this is someone I have never met in world, and is most likely an alt of a former member I just kicked out. It's obviously an attempt to make my group look bad, especially because the people who were attacked also run a fight club, which might make them think I am trying to intimidate them or something stupid like that.

Anyways...if anyone on here finds one of these things on their property, and it has RAGE Fighting Championships written all over it, just ignore it, and let it die.

My question is, if I get AR'd about this, am I somehow culpable because my group tag is on the object?

I doubt it, unless LL starts getting tons of ARs saying that it's a griefer group.

Not sure why you'd get AR'ed on this. Wouldn't they AR the owner of the poofer object? Why did they even contact you? Is the land that the object was on next to your groups land maybe?

I don't think so...I am not in world so I can't investigate yet. Thanks for your reply.
