Great news :)

Can you give a little more info, such as, did it suddenly appear in your inventory, or had you rezzed it on the ground and it came back there?

Did you make a report about it to LL?

Had the sim been recently rolled back, or had a restart, or been upgraded to the new server version?

The answers might give others hope that have lost stuff recently.

i did everything i could, i sent a ticket, then i tried that -edit filters option..i left only objects clicked and..voilĂ , my chimera appeared out of the blue! the days before i had looked for it everywhere, typing its exact name..noway! and now there it was, all full of dances and kicking lol...i Don't know of rolling restarts yesterday, there was one a few days ago but my chim had not appeared...in inventory, as nothing had happened!

Ha!!

This is a miracle, you know.

When mine went there was a ticket open for ages, with no returns. However, Sine Wave replaced the 8K or so of dances I had bought only a day or two before without any quibble (I'd sent them a notecard with the items, the transaction numbers, the ticket number and the deadly "This has been sent to our Inventory Team";).

I've lost count of the number of items I have lost over the years.

Honey, Sine Wave are just immensely busy - it took them a little while to get back to me, and did you send the card to the right people? No point sending them to Eazy.

Eventually even notecards will stop being delivered - Sine Wave have a great reputation and because of that they are mega-mega busy, which means they can take a long time. Plus, they do eat and sleep as well :)

Don't deprive yourself of the best dances in SL, bar non, because of that. Not to mention keeping them alive and kicking to make more and more stuff.

I don't know if sent the card to the right people, they don't have a tag with written-send notecards to me- ;) ..I waited about 2 weeks and yes, I know they eat and sleep lol...but untill they make dances-copy- ( not transfer) I will be very cautious in buying more dances...
I will keep buying copy dances for poles...pity they are heavy to carry around lol

My guess is that someone from Customer Services followed up and read Sassy's post, noticed who else was affected and fixed what they could. If so then well done that person.

Woohooo! Congrats! I'm still waiting for my hamster in a cage to reappear. I've been looking at that empty folder for so long, it's a chore to not just delete it.

I live in hope, its the best thing we have going for us. Good to see you got your stuff back though, kool =)

Hamster ??? If I ever had a hamster I think it would be happier to stay lost. I start getting hungry everytime I see furry little creatures ;)

Well, busy or not, i've received nothing from them so far, not that it's relevant now but believe me, I was truly contemplating going round to their offices and knocking on the physical door... :)

ya Eazy Babcock is probably pretty unreachable now days compared to when they first opened..
chances are if you sent the note card there it was buried in a sea of note cards.plus with the way sl has been anything could have happened there..i've been with sine wave since they opened and have never known them to ignore things like that..
it may take a while but never disregarded.

i think they grew a little faster in sl than they had planned..
i remember walking into sine wave the first day and seeing their dances and may have had them for one day before i saw every girl in the club using them lol
the second release and you could not get in the place..they had to move everything to the sim floor and now have to have two sims which are always loaded with people..

i mean just to sell animations and see a store like that having better traffic than big clubs in only a few months from opening just amazes me..

you used to be able to speak with Eazy but by like release 4 it was getting pretty hard..
Poles are no fun to dance on sweetie..
they get old so fast..don't let this experience stop you from having fun..just make sure you know where something you are going to attach is going to land so that it doesn't happen again..when in doubt detach the hud or use the stop animation that comes with the huddles.

there are so many ways to have fun dancing and syncing dances together with the huddles and sinewave that well it just beats a pole and really one of the best poles in sl is a sinewave anyways hehehe

myself i have 4 huddles full of sinewave dances and every time i drop it on the ground i pray alittle that it will rezz..i think we all do lol

Hey everyone, Just ran across this thred and figured I better speak up for myself.
As some of you know, I and xdarkx Pertwee handle the customer service for Sine Wave. We never ever mean to ignore any of our customers.

SL's delivery system is not so good lately, so if you haven't gotten a responce to a card you sent, please send it again, we may not have gotten it.

I'm also easily distracted by shiny things, so don't be shy about buggin me if I don't get back you in a day or so.

Just wanted to let you all know we love our customers and try our best to take care of everyone. So if your waiting on us, give me a yell.

Thank you all so much!

Welcome to the thread! I sent my request to both of you and got no response but fortunately, sl were able to restore my huddles. If they cant in future, i may feel compelled to visit in person because i was almost in tears.

Now, i appreciate that it's your decision but all of this would be a non event if the dances were copy and no trans!

Why are pole dances copy but floor dances not??
