Hello and thank you in advance for any help. I am trying to understand what the scoop is with land that the Lindens have reclaimed from inactive accounts. I am aware of a reclaimed plot and would like to buy it, but it just sits there. Why does it not go on sale immediately, and how does one know when it will go on sale? It SEEMS arbitrary to me, but maybe I just don't understand. And I don't want to miss out on the purchase. Is there a notification system?

Thank you!!

Not really a notification system but there are a few ways you can check to see if a plot is currently up for auction or is about to go up.

1. Open your map--if the plot you want is purple that means it will either be at auction soon/is currently being auctioned/or the auction recently closed. not very precise I know.

2. If you click on the parcel and part of the description includes an "auction ID" followed by a number you should check on the auction pages for it. (the plot will also be purple on the map however)

3. Just regularly check the auction pages.

I'm not sure how you would find out in advance, though. Maybe contact Jack Linden (he's in charge of land) and ask about that specific plot? Maybe he'd put it up if he knew that someone was looking at it.

Or Guy Linden.
