Hey! A friend of mine recommended the 'Meta Card' to me, and it sounds like a great concept, but I also have reservations due to Ginko, The Bank and all these other similar things that seem to be destined for bad reputations. This is a bit different, as it has a credit facility with what looks like a not too bad interest rate, but they also have a deposit facility, and if you want a 'Gold' card CC details are required. Just wondering if anyone has dealt with First Meta, and if there is any feedback you could share?

Anyone who enters into a financial services agreement in a world where everyone is anonymous and you have absolutely no real contracts or enforcibility, should consider the money lost the moment they deposit it.
I think of this loss as the "Naivety Tax".
