Ok I have to admit I am not a huge fan of poofers but the club I just started work in uses them as a way to draw people out sometimes. My question is how do I send a poofer to someone? Are they bought that way and how do I tell? I am not sure if this makes sense so an example..... Chelley kisses "noobie" and the kisses poof from me to "noobie". I dont want to waste my money on poofers if they dont work that way or there isnt an easy way to make them do that. LOL Lazy...who me?

The poofs (particles) come from a worn attachment, and the attachment has to be specifically scripted to behave in that manner.

A "poofer" is just an object or attachment that creates a particle stream based on some event that can be detected. Common events used for this are teleporting, entering an area, or paying something (e.g. a tip jar). It could also be triggered by a command on a numbered chat channel. In theory, it could be triggered by something typed in open chat, but listening to open chat is expensive (in terms of load), and should be discouraged.
I'm not sure exactly what you want to happen for kissing. When I think of kissing, I think of an animation that brings the two avatars together, and it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to send kiss images to someone when you're embracing. But you could have a poofer attachment that listens on a numbered channel and, when triggered, both sends the kiss images and types something in open chat, e.g.:
/1 kiss Some Avatar <-- you type this Chelley kisses Some Avatar <-- the poofer types this, in green text, and the images get sent

Thre's a freebie one out there that sends about 5 different poofer images.. kiss, hug, luck, etc. I'll see if I have one but I believe they were in a New Av box at a skin shop.
