I have two questions.
#1- How do I get my photos that I take to look like a snapshot and not a texture?
#2- How can I make a photo I upload non transferable or where they cannot copy it?

I can answer #2. Right-click the texture and select 'properties'; there are tick boxes to set mod/copy/transfer.

If you want it to have the snapshot icon, you have to save it in-game. If you save to your hard drive and upload it back to SL, it will always have the texture icon.

When I go to the texture the boxes to make it where it cannot be copied or transfered are grayed out.
And thanks for the answer on how to make it a photograph

If it is something you uploaded, when you right click it and select the properties, either 'copy' or 'transfer' must be checked -- you cannot have both unchecked. That is simply the permission rules that apply to all items.

all of those are checked. it is the ones that say no copy no transfer that are grayed out.

Are you talking about the top set that has the label "You can:" above it? These are the permission you have and you cannot take away your own permissions to your texture. The bottom set labeled "Next owner can" is all you have to worry about before giving it to someone.
I don't actually see anything labeled "no copy" and/or "no transfer" - I'll grab a screen print and post what I see.

Yeah, you want to uncheck all of the ones at the bottom under 'Next Owner Can:' The ones closer to the top dictate what you can do with your own pic.
