Hello forum members - I hope someone can help me solve my little problem. Being new, I've probably done something silly in my ignorance, but I can't figure out what, or how to fix it. I was experimenting with using the About Land feature, but I also had my inventory window open, and my friends list. When I moved the About Land screen to one side, it stretched and I couldn't grab the bottom RH corner to reduce it. I moved it to the bottom of the screen, out of the way, and now it's disappeared altogether! It doesn't matter whether I'm in window view or full screen, I can't pull it back up again. Relogging or clearing cache or any of those things don't make a difference. Can anyone please give me some advice? Thanks in anticipation

i don't know if this will work, i don't think it will but it does work with a HUD that goes off screen. go into edit mode and select one of your hud's then use your mouse scroll wheel to make the screen smaller and you might find your window on the outside there. hope that helps

If that doesn't help you may have to reinstall SLâ„¢. Or: 1. locate settings.xml (if you're on Windows it'll probably be at C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\SecondLife\user_settings\settings.xml where username is your windows username). 2. look for the FloaterLandRect5 tag 3. change the first two values to zero. I exited SL, changed those values (just the first two) to zero, restarted SL, called up the About Land dialog and it was stuffed in the upper left corner. Edit to Add: My tag looks like: <!-- Rectangle for About Land window --> <FloaterLandRect5 value="0 0 460 420" /> In case your window is stretched too big. --Hugsy

Thanks to you too Hugsy - I'm posting at work at the moment, so can't try either suggestion, but I appreciate having another option
