Hi all, I keep getting "Verifying cache will take 60 to 90 seconds" Message when i try to connect  Then failure to Login message..... check SL status etc..... Soo Confused here! Anyone any advice, please?!? TIA  Velda. |

I'm currently getting the same 60 - 90 second message, then I get.. "Unable to connect to Second Life, DNS(huh) could not resolve the host name, please confirm you can connect to Second Life .com.."and so on... Having said that I logged in with no problems using my Mac (bangs head on desk...) I tried contacting concierge help, but despite their announcement of 24/7 assistance..there was nobody there. |

...and now it's working again... This sort of thing happens from time to time..gliches in the system I guess. I find a trip to the knowledge base or one of the support services usually does the trick..not because those systems resolve the problem or explain it in any way, but because after spending half an hour or an hour trying to get THEM to work and usually failing..the original problem has gone away..wonderful system!! |

Same problem here, it's been several hours now. Support could potentially be of value, if it didn't keep timing out whilst logging on!

OK, that's weird...I swear I saw a blog entry feed saying some countries might be experiencing log in problems (DNS thing), but now it's gone.
