Hello,

I would like to make a Jukebox that people can choose the song they wish to play and will play in order they were choosen. Similar to the ones in small pubs/bars irl.

Does anyone know where I can find a script to do this?

Thanks for any replies :)

Hi Celayna!

Its not really feasable to do this with LSL *alone*. It is possible to make an LSL script that talks to a webpage or webserver somehow.... and its the webserver that does all the work. But that's a bit beyond the capabilities of an average SL user.

An easy way of doing this if you dont have the kung-fu to host a server is to find a Shoutcast stream that has an existing automated-request system. Hundreds of Shoutcast streams can be found on shoutcast.com.

Once you find a stream that has a request page, you can create a simple LSL script that calls the function llLoadURL - and directs the user to that song request page when they click on your object.

Hope this helps! :)
