Ok.. So I go to post a event at my place right, and I see this as selected event... I mean WTF why the heck do SL put all these adult crap in to our face then PLANT this right at me! Not that I dont mind looking at a males body but.... Isn't this border line adult?? Eh maybe not cause his hand is covering his part.. but the ADD is for adult dancers and you got people listing on this thing that list for religious and school functions and they are blasted with this possibly? I just dont get it! GRRRRRR

It's certainly mature, I thought the website was only supposed to show PG events.

This is exactly why I'm hoping the new site might prompt them to clean the listings up a bit. The new design makes it harder to ignore the spam and the not-spam but still-mislisted events.
(Hey, I can dream, right?)

Yeah, I got that selected event too, the same day I got the notice that my club would be in violation of the Adult policies for an undisclosed keyword in the parcel description (which, based on slapt.me, the forbidden Adult word is "strippers." Does it cost money to be a selected Event? That would explain it. Adult content is forbidden out of place- unless Linden Lab makes some money on it. Then it's okay. (Maybe it's changed, but I noticed a lot of featured Adult products and pictures come up on XStreet's page, before I even logged in and enabled Mature content. Pay Linden Lab, and the Adult policy doesn't apply to you.)

No, the Select Event is the one you have selected in the list of events lower on the page. Click on a different one, and it will appear in the Selected Event box. Yesterday I was able to start out with no selected events, so the box was blank. I can't repeat that today.

I had not touched or selected anything. I just clicked on events on the webpage. Perhaps it changes while you click, or select. But that was displayed big and bold when the page loaded.

There is not enough people and time for LL to watch ever event listing. If it bothers you, AR it. It is the only way they will know about it.

If they do not have time to "watch over" then they should not have set this "adult" pissfire flairing. This to me is a direct fault of their ability to control or otherwise keep adult content contained and all the hassles people are going through now is worthless if people are allowed to fall through the cracks. They need to put in place something on the webpage then to dismiss adult content. If I select only show PG in my client that doesnt mean squat on the webpage and I will obviously be subjected to "adult" and "mature" content. I am not offended by the ad, but I know other might be that were assured they would not have to be subjected to "adult" content as promised by LL. Error on LL part to contain this and its not up to me to moderate their website pr pointout how crapass ugly it is. Prior to the new webpage I didnt have to see any events and now its splashed up in my face to the highest payer...... I know what you are saying but I still think this was a BS move on LL part. \
