I um broke it, ok..

I signed off when SL was into a smaller sized window state and now I cant get the full screen to login, it is like "not responding" on me. I try to stretch I try to max nothing but.... "not responding......."

What causes this, is this something I should have known my whole time in sl not to sign off with a little bitty sized window??

any suggestions other than reinstall because I did that (over) and it didnt help...

Did you delete the temp files of SL? in
C:\Documents and Settings\yourcomputername\Application Data\SecondLife
in XP?

Press ALT-Enter to switch to full screen mode and see if that works.

No all I get is a "ding error" from vista and "not responding" still small screen...
I had to remove SL uninstall and all my settings, I got the larger screen back. But this seems to me to be a bit of a problem if others do it? bu thten again maybe I am the only one who is silly enough to make my screen smaller than fullscreen when I sign off.

and thank you for your help...

Try deleting the settings file(s) in
C:\Users\[username]\Appdata\Roaming\SecondLife\user_settings\

Could this be a Vista issue by any chance? I only query because I often logoff with the SL client in a reduced size window with no problems at all - and I'm running XP.
