Friend is moving there and doesn't want to lose his connection to SL and would like different opinions on best available service in that area.
Anyone in the vicinity of Clinton, MO that can recommend a service?

Sorry, Amara. Wrong side of the state for my experience. But Clinton is pretty close to KC, right? It should be well connected.

looked it up on the map, looks like it is southeast of KC heading towards Springfield. If it is your typical small town, your friend won't be given a choice as to which broadband is available with the possible exception of whether you use the one cable company for cable or the one phone company for dsl.

This - Clinton is not really that large. I'll also offer my sympathies to your friend -- Clinton is also a pretty boring place. I grew up in KC and knew a few folks in Clinton.
