Anyone know what happened to this build?

The castle and store [ArkAngel Designs] at Arcana Nuevo, is no more? This place was one of the most fantastic SL builds. The sim is now named Rune. :( How many other builds have disappeared of late?

...not nearly as many as will disappear in the next 6 months.

SL(adult content / new rules) * (market share / verification) = +/-( sales < before ) = ( money < what we're used to) + (using land > before + tier > we want) = Artistic Builds < Tight Commercial Focus.

Wow that was fun.

Translation...

SL with it's adult content divided by new rules, multiplied by the available customers divided by verification status.. with or without sales being less than before... equals money being less than we're used to.. plus we'll be using land more than before, and our tier will be more than we want. Therefore, out of necessity, artistic builds will be giving way to tighter commercial focus.

An example of the above is as follows.

My shop in Healy has 4128 sqm. That means I have 944 prims to play with. If I have to buy a piece of Adult land.. that will mean either that my tier goes up from owning more land, OR that I will have to sell/abandon a chunk of my land in Healy. Even if sales remained normal after this, I'd either be paying more per month for land, or I'd have less land, and less prims to be artistic with.

I know of three already that closed shop and a few others who are changing their format totally due to not wanting to move from the mainland. All of the above were here for a minimum of 2-3 years also.

It's going to get worse, don't worry :)

Ah, just glad you provided a translation. :) Many fine builds disappeared with the initial open space fiasco [Remember, remember the fifth of November]. Just so very sad this is continuing.

Throw the homestead/open sim tier increase in that equation... it gets grimmer.

For some reason, I don't even want to know when the price increase goes into effect, rather, I'll retreat back under my rock and wait until the all clear is sounded.

That build was where I really started to get interested in SL - this really bites
