The team that answers support tickets and live chats from residents is establishing 'I-World Island', a place where they will try to offer additional signposting and guidance for some of the in-world issues that occur. See more info here, http://blog.secondlife.com/2008/03/29/the-i-world-team-and-i-world-island/#comment-592842Here's a snippet, "One particular section of this island will be driven by you, our fantastic residents whose creativity and support for Second Life make it the exciting place it is today. We are setting aside an area for an I-World Expo, allowing YOU to submit items to pass on free to other residents that you feel make a positive impact to the in-world resident experience." Will some of you participate? Seems like a fun idea to me.

I read this as "we are now making it even easier to resell freebies" call me a cynic.

Ah, the long awaited GOMming of NCI, the Shelter, Free Dove, etc. I would like a 16 sqm parcel there or maybe just a prim. I doubt they willl accomodate such a request.

Another place to put visual clutter. Because, you know, if we could just get a few more signs on-screen we could so improve the SL experience.

LOL, yes can't wait to see the Hax & Eagle big yellow smiley face adfarming display with 200 temp rezz prims going through the convention centre roof, or perhaps The Pinkin Noops (Patriotic Nigras) could do a 1995 replicating Mario & Ninja Turtle sim crashing display .

From: Tegg Bode can't wait to see the Hax & Eagle big yellow smiley face adfarming display That's not what I'm anticipating. I expect to see lots of little signs for more redundant free stuff. Links to people's stores disguised as favors to new residents. Because, you know, *my* free stuff is just what everyone needs.

From: someone One particular section of this island will be driven by you, our fantastic residents whose creativity and support for Second Life make it the exciting place it is today. I read this as, "Please provide free labor and resources" At least we know that even if they aren't that good at support or can't seem to "make a positive impact to the in-world resident experience.", they do seem to have the ass-kissing thing down.

The first thing that sprung into my mind when I read this was that LL was fishing for stuff for a new set of orientation island avatars, and also to spiff up the Library. And yanno ... I'm still not sure that isn't part of it.

And yanno ... I'm still not sure that isn't part of it. actually LL can take anything from a resident and make it "free" or available in the library. case in point, a friend i met here in SL, who made tattoos and such, was floored one day when he found one of his original tats in the LL provided library portion of the resident inventory. to say he was mad was a bit of an understatement, but i never found out if he got compensated for it or if it was removed. he left SL shortly after that.

There's, uh, probably a lot of things you didn't know about lindens. Another, another interesting, uh, lindenism, uh, there are only three jobs available to a linden. The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

From: Toy LaFollette I would rather see tickets answered. So would it be cute if they had one of those wait in line ticket machines and chairs, you click on the ticket machine get your number, sit down and wait for service Edit: brainstorm, make the chairs camping chairs and the longer you have to wait for an answer the more the Lindens have to pay you!!!

The more experienced players would go in early and get a low number and then "sell / trade" it to a newbie just arriving with a high number. The newbie thinking he just got a deal !! While the experienced player would go on camping. "CX"
