this is tedious

for the last few days ive experienced MAJOR lag and crashing. Havent changed anything (until just now) my end...but people dont rez when they land by me..everything is grey for agessssss (my home took a full 8 mins to rez and then not entirely) and im soooo lagged its untrue. Sit on a pose ball...i dont "assume the postion" for a minute or three...

Once ive been inworld for a while...it settles a bit..but even then, if people tp to me, i cant see them Sooo i downloaded the latest viewer...friends list borked..and still the same. cleared cache...done all the usual stuff to minimise these kiNda problems...and im SOOOO tired of it i might BITE someone now. Others say they are crashing and lagged...with the ole boots up the arse thing going on...whywhywhywhy (can you tell im a tad annoyed lol)

i was just inworld about 1/2 hour ago (only for about 5 whole minutes ) and i had no probs at all.

I'm lagging more than usual, lower frame rate on my own land where I haven't changed a thing. I thought someone was running a massive script nearby. But then when I went shopping I had the gray problem for a long time -- not just that but big chunks of the building and side walk that simply weren't visible for a long time, with gray people seeming to stand in mid air.

The worst thing was seeing ladies with sculptie boots walking around looking like they have big gray balloon calves. How undignified for them. Is it the 62k or more "residents" on line? I think robot and zombie camping armies should be the next target after ad farms.

I havn't been crashing except for the log out but darn close . The lag I'm getting definately, and I too thought a neighbor was scripting something big lol. My real fear was that I had too many scripts running at the yard. So I started taking down a lot of what i thought were the most offensive lag producers.

The lag has not eased though I have a lot of prims available now . The situation is I can't tell if its the current problems that are affecting the sales here or the stuff on the yard causing the lag and now waiting for my group land holdings to load (hasn't in a while ) to determine our total holdings. We can't make it at this rate and sadly, may have to "exit stage left."

I have had major issues too the last 4 day or so days with lag, textures not loading and general bizarre strangeness. It not just you. Others I spoke to been experiencing things too similar. No clue what the issue is.

thanks guys...im sorry to hear that others are having these issues too..but also relieved? arent I selfish lol. Its such a bummer not being able to DO anything...total wasted day today oh well...got some inventory sorted-well the bits of it that actually loaded..because it isnt all loading all the time ~sighhh~

...and yes Weston..HUGE chunks of buildings not rezzing for me, i walk with GREAT trepidation most of the time, thinking im gonna fall down into a black pit of nothingness (that might be FUN though i guess)

Ray...i also took away quite a few possible offending items, which gave me more prims too yay! always a silver lining lol

I also did a check for scripts running...or peolpe vacuming up resources and couldnt find anything amiss..its a mystery.

Got a feeling something is a foot...apparently more rolling restarts to come this week i hear?

that would be ME with the balloons on my legs but hey...i see them perfectly...its not until someone TELLS me how they look i feel undignified lol so SHHHHHH!!!!!
