Hi,
I am a flash movie maker, and I was wondering, if I can convert the flash to AVI, if there was a way to upload the 5 minute video into SL for view on a tv screen.

I don't need to know any specifics on how it is done, I just want to know whether it is feasible.

you can`t upload video, also, SL only playes quicktime

Nope.

You cannot upload movies into SL to be played. Period. WHat you CAN do is upload it to a stream, and use that in your parcel as the media stream for video in About Land>Media

Thats the only way to have a true video.
A second, more nnoying (In my opinion) method would be to make it into an animated texture
