Changes & edits not "taking" on profiles

My friend and I are experiencing problems with edits not appearing on our profiles. We check them out under alternate avs, and the old, unedited bits are still there.
This also includes leaving groups. If we leave a group, it still shows when we look at our profiles under alternate avs.
Ideas? Thanks.

I think it sometimes takes time to filter through the system. Make sure you're closing the edit by clicking the ok button and not the X.

I have occasionally had issues with alt images and profile edits too.
At first I thought they hadn't saved properly but it doesn't happen very often for me.

One thing that is definitely a problem with trying to delete Picks and might cause problems with other profile stuff -- if you have 'View Admin Options' selected in the Advanced menu, you can delete Picks and properly click OK, but they will still be there when you reopen your profile. Turn the View Admin Options off and when you delete the Picks they really do go away. If you usually have that option on, try turning it off to see if it helps with your specific problems.

Actually, our Picks tab has nothing to do with what's going on. But I'll try that anyway, to see if it helps with the rest.
It's changes to the profile text that's at issue, as well as groups. My friend left a group but it still shows him being a member. I think it's for more than one.

Same things here. I change avatars a lot and try to have a profile picture for each av. Had to give up on that idea. I thought it was just me!
