I'm looking for a good, believable idle standing animation (looped) for a female character. So far most have been either much too robotic or too brash. Sine Wave/Bell Curve set was off to a good start but hasn't really produced what I was hoping to see.
It needs to be demure and modest, almost subservient, preferably not designed by an otherwise well-meaning Poser geek who has never actually *seen* a real woman up close. The 'motion capture' style would be best, if anyone other than Sine Wave does it.
Suggestions, anyone?

try Outrider .... Has some nice muted looped anim stances ...both male and female

I have to second the vote for Outrider. I've had their animations in my AO for almost 2 years and still think they're the best!

Outrider is very good, I have a few of theirs. I also have a couple of nice, sedate stands from Reel Expressions. There are also a few modest, calm ones at SEmotion, in I think the Beaute vendor.

Most of the Outrider poses cause Ann to put her hands in and through her body. I like Torridwear stands, but they probably aren't animated enough for you.
