okay, since I didn't see to much backlash about the new upgrade, I went ahead and installed.. BIG MISTAKE
SL freezes for a sec and then windows vista gives me error, your display driver has stoped responding but has recovered. (not exact) Oh nooooesssss... So now I have to keep rebooting PC and or SL because i get the freezes every few minutes or so..
No I know I need to uninstall this version upgrade, but am curious is anyone else with this video having same issue?
windows vista and 2gb ram with nvidia 8800 gts.

Try upgrading your graphic card drivers first. I was getting this error a lot before I upgraded my drivers.

What driver set are you using? Nvidia's or someone elses? Driver version? Are you overclocking? My suggestion is to completely remove all the software and reboot. Ensure all folders are deleted, all data is gone. Then reinstall the new ones you'd download. I'd do the same with Second Life, completely uninstall it too (just to be safe). There is no official Nvidia removal tool, but I found this: http://forums.slizone.com/index.php?showtopic=16138Also, not responding could also be a graphics card overheating. I'd monitor your temps. Since it's an Nvidia 8800 GTS, there SHOULD be an option for it (as in it comes with a temp probe) Display Props > Settings > Advanced > Nvidia > Temps

I started getting an error with 1.2. It worked fine when I initially downloaded it. Then a few days later, I started getting some serious lockups. Upon restarting SL, I got a notice that the gpl drivers would be disabled to to incompatibility. Tried upgrading drivers and reinstalling SL, but no joy. The last RC still works fine tho. Go figure. FWIW, I have a 7600.
Update--The link Stallion posted mentions deleting the Nvidia folder after uninstalling the driver software. That seems to have done the job for me. Thanks!
