Not sure, but I noticed when I try to edit appearance and I am wearing shoes (not the prim, but the shoe layer thing) it puts me at a weird stance. Take the shoes off and I stand as normal for appearance editing.
going to test this again and if it still reacts the same way i will bug report it
if anyone wishes to give it a try and report back to this thread I would appreciate it
be nice to know if I am not the only one that this happens to (and with shoes on) but doesn't happen to with shoes off
well doesn't seem to do it to me at the moment (just logged back in)
next time this weirdness happens to anyone try removing shoes see if it helps...
SL is ... weird sometimes

I'll try it when I get home. Here's the JIRA link for this problem; maybe you can shed some light on it and add to this issue. Same problem as in "appearance" thread? https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-2030

yep that is the bug I was refering to
I happened to notice when taking off the shoes it stopped doing it, when putting them on, it did it again
but now the shoes do not seem to be doing that to me... ok I give up, now when removing the shoes it doesn't help, and it is doing it to me again
BLAH guess I did not find a bug
strangeness

Many womens shoes contain a walk animation, that could be the problem. Or any animation override that you are wearing.

I assumed this was a feature - if it's the same pose I saw recently when working on a pair of boots. Standing with one foot flat on the ground, and the other slightly up, knee bent.
It's a great pose so you can see how the shoe looks standing on the ground on one side, and see how it looks up so you can get a look at the heel and sole. I found it quite useful.
