I recently purchased four parcels. Each has my name as owner, but are read and write. Anyone can come along and change a lot of stuff.

When I see other owners' About Land, they have their options checked or not checked, but every page is greyed out as read only.

How do I make my About Land panels read only??

Thanks.

Other people cannot really change it... the options are open to you, because you own them, but other people can't, unless they're in the group that owns it, and have the powers through the group. If you have your own name in that owners box, and not a group name, don't worry.

It already should be, for others. It won't be for you. If you want I can fly by and test it for ya. If you don't have a test alt.

I'm about to go in world I've just been decompressing a bit here, first.

Only you can change the ownership status of your land.

But if you look through the options pages, you have the choice to allow or disallow other people from doing things on or with your land, such as building things or running scripts.

One of these options is to allow other people to terraform (landscape) your land. It's best to make sure that is 'off' or you might log in one day to find that someone has turned your smooth parcel into a series of humps and pits!
