So while chattin with someone and as they typed "no" it triggered a sound byte saying a cute "no". They also typed something else and it triggered a prepopulated text gester which was cool.

Now these gesters drive the me nuts when abused..but can be very amusing when timed right in conversatons and only periodicly.

So is there something you have to get to make them trigger by typing something or a Hud or something? How do you trigger a sound gester just by typing "no" for example. And also how do you trigger the "text gester" by typing another thing?

I thought you meant, "jesters." I was going to say, yes, we have some here.

I think, at the end of the chat/text bar is a select few default gestures you can play around with.

Click on yourself, from the pie menu select Gestures. This will open up the window in which you can edit them.

if you double click the gesture it will open up you will see the trigger for it. If you have mod rights to it you can set it to whatever you want.

Friend of mine got stuck yesterday in a mini-clown avatar. That's what he gets for being bored on SL and just messing around, tried on this mini-clown av and couldn't get it off. He was SO upset. I LOL'd, but helped him figure out how to get it off, except for the 'tiny clown hair' which was determined to stay no matter what we did. Finally got that off too by wearing a bald head. You would have hated the mini-clown, he actually WAS kinda scary.....
