Ok so i've been wandering around a few sims for a couple of days looking for some kind of RP to do. I come from a Gorean background of Roleplay style but i want something different.
I've visited a couple of different sims but they all seem too be mostly dead and people are not very chatty either *sighs* so i'm stuck on what too do. I'm a friendly person but i can be quite shy at times untill i know someone, i love roleplay since being a child but i really don't even know where too start or who too ask for advice, so please i'm begging for help and guidance on what to do.
I'm open too most RP but i don't want really want too fight, i don't mind the sim having fighting but i don't want it to be the whole thing. I also don't any capture, bondage either really did all that in Gor.
So please help. If you have any ideas please send me pm's or even contact me inworld.

Caledon? Might be a good change of pace.
There are also some seedier junkyard post-apocolyptic places. There is a group of sims dedicated to this, but I can't remember the names right now. I've had some fun running around these places and RPing.
I seem to vaguely remember Furnation having some horror-ish sim stuff going on. But that was some time ago. I imagine that there are a few places that are horror RP.

Avilion is good for medieval fantasy type of role play. They have events every day, gate greeters, ballroom hosts and there is always something to do. You can participate in serious role play or casual, it's really up to you. It can't hurt to go explore and see if it's a good fit for you. IM me if you have questions.

You don't wanna fight, but you like good scenery, a good amt of people around, a storyline, but not real strict rules? Go visit Grendel's Children. in places Search, first, the store comes up (real cheap prices, real high quality), the other places, are all links to the outdoors area (Avaria is the fantasy country/region/realm), & it's about 4 Sims...go & visit, you'll like it even if you don't become part of the regular RP. ...& before anybody says "Grendel's?? What RP??", they have a new, robust (wow I know a "big word"!), RP gaming system where u can collect & build items to trade, wear, hatch, weave, etc, etc.
...also thier RP community is finally comin' together. New factions have been formed by users & the Corra Nacunda (giant crow people) will have a REAL deep level of RP & special access to crazy lookin hidden areas sometime soon. Just a quick fly around the outdoors parts of Grendel's, & maybe a quick store visit will get you either HOOKED, or at least you'll visit over & over again.
for Grendel's RP groups, Search either "Avaria", or "Grendel's".

Regarding Grendel's Children, neither that term nor Avaria come up in my search (SL 1.20.15)
Apparently the trick to getting into the sim from the store, is to walk off the 1st floor balcony. I could find no TP

Thank you for all the responses I'll answer all individually Abu - I've not been to Caledon yet but i have heard a few things about there. I am planning too visit there tonight when i log on. Thank you for the tip. Aree - I visited Avilion today. It's a beautiful Sim don't get me wrong but i found it very hard to maneuver around and got lost a couple of times so in the end i just gave up on there. Too big Sims are not great for me i have a terrible sense of direction and i need things to be laid out simply. Xio - Thank you i'll come and visit there aswell though i have never heard of them before, the way you describe the system though seems wonderful, i love that idea of creating your own things. I think it's adds too the roleplay of the sim.

Maybe look up The Kingdom or Azuria as well. I have gone there a few times exploring, and RPers seemed to be rather approachable, I even engaged on in some IC fact finding about the realm and picked up most of the basic social conflict structure that way. Perhaps next time I go back if I get the chance I will IC acquire more Lore knowledge. BTW I am not in that roleplay yet, only an observer.

We roleplay pregnancy fetishes at POP INDUSTRIES on Verona. If thats not interesting, the med lab has a few tools that can be used in other ways... Theres also a large Sci FI section in the towers with sex crazed robots, walls of computer banks and slimy worms.
Theres almost always someone somewhere at POPs who'd love to run you thru the transformation machine or encase you in latex or literally a dozen other things to amuse you.
I also just installed a sim trolley for a nice back and forth tour too. (dont miss the 60 meter tall pregnant chrome woman statute made by a POP group member in the center of the sim!)
And last but not least there is an erotic art gallery if your so inclined as well as a nice beach and a series of underground waterways which i must confess arent done yet, must add those tentacles you know!
So stop on in. POP Industries on Verona. Just search the map for Verona, you cant miss POPLAND. it covers half the grid now.

The Wastelands for post-apocolyptic. (include the "The" -- Wastelands without "The" is a Gorean sim)

Try shopping around for roles to play. Try being furry, neko, elf, angel, demon, or even a rare species. Change your clothes, skin, and shape. Be the opposite gender. You can experiment with roles using an alt, leaving your main avatar as your more permanent self, until you have decided what role you like to be longer term.

I could find no TP ...the owners wouldn't be too happy 'bout that...weird. Comes up for me every single time. Well you can also go to the Map & just type in Avaria & all 4 or 5 sims will come up. They are all named Avaria(insert "suffix" here). Yeah, the Wastelands is crazy & it looks great...I take a few of my bike club members out there for a quick run every once in a while. Nice owner too. There's more info about thier RP on thier wiki: http://wiki.the-wastelands.org/index.php?title=Main_Page

From: Grace Loudon *whispers* Rivet Town *runs off on her tippy toes. I've just been to look around. I set world to midnight, fog to maximum. *Fantastic* build, and the RP opportunities look endless.
