I'm having terrible problems trying to log in to SL this morning; is it just me?
The Grid Status report doesn't mention anything wrong, but I can't get
SL to complete the login sequence. It freezes right after the first little
part of the progress bar on "Logging In..." for about 3 minutes,
and then it gets stuck on "Connecting to region..." and never gets there.
I don't seem to have trouble connecting to other places on the web.
Traceroute can't see my sim; it stops at linden-rese.edge3.dallas1.level3.net. I don't know if that is normal or not.
Maybe Dallas is disconnected?

Keep trying, I couldn't TP or upload textures but it worked on a relog.

Try logging into a different sim. Say Pooley.

(Reports of people NOT having a problem are not very useful, though.) Ouch. Did you do the rinse and repeat? Might be something in the cache? And no.. I'm not having the problem right now, because I'm not trying to log in. I'll give it a shot though. Edit: Nope, not having the problem.

I am kinda having the same problem.. gets to precaching then just crashes with no error... been trying to log in for the last hour or so..

Yeah, been having problems since yesterday - either get the message
"We're having trouble connecting. There may be a problem with your internet connection or the Second Life Servers"
or if I do manage to get into SL I can't teleport, and then I get stuck and can't move.

When faced with frustrations like this, I always return to a hard restart, ie computer, modem and router all off, wait a few minutes then restart. Numerous times I have had a connection problem just to find the modem or router has got itself choked up, never mind the cache issues ! If that doesnt help. then at least one cause under your control has been eliminated.
